ORDERING, ESTIMATING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION
NOTE: We are now accepting minimum orders as low as four
crates (1440 Square Feet) on a select group of products. However, because
of variances in weight for specific stones, plus variances in the combined
shape and sizes of the
pieces
required
for
your project, the amount of stones one crate will also vary from order
to order. The information below will help you calculate crate loads for our
product line. If you need our help calculating a crate based on combinations
of two or more different products, please provide us with estimates
of the amount of each product needed in square footage or number of pieces
and we'll help determine the exact number of full crates and present
a quote. We cannot accept orders for partial crate loads. In addition,
because we ship direct to you at substantial savings, the final price quote
is dependent on point -to-point shipping. Please be sure you designate
a shipping/delivery location–not the billing address–on the shipping
line of the order form when contacting us for a quote.

The square foot coverage of one full crate for specific products is listed below.
Please calculate your slate needs to the full load. For example, a full
crate of Mosaic Slate covers 360 square feet. If you need 1500 square feet,
please order five crates. Sorry, we cannot accept orders for partial crates.
Flooring Slate: 360 Square feet per crate
Mosaic Slate 360 Square feet per full crate
Roofing Slate Varies from 3 roofing squares to 3.8 roofing squares per crate. Depending on size of tiles.
Flooring
One crate of standard flooring slate covers 360 Square feet. One crate of Mosaic or Random Slate flooring covers 360 Square feet. Please calculate your slate needs to the full load. If you need 420 square feet of Mosaic Slate, please order two full crates. Sorry, we cannot accept orders for partial crates.
Roofing
The number of roofing squares in a crate varies from 3 roofing squares to 3.8 roofing squares per crate depending on the dimensions of the tiles. Please refer to the chart below* then calculate your slate needs to the full load. If you need 5 Squares of 16" x 8" tiles, for example, please order two full crates. Sorry, we cannot accept orders for partial crates.
